Panther2003:

"Recently i have been hard at work in my gaming development lab working with a colleague, Mr Flush "Kipper" Royal, designing a variant of NL holdem. After weeks of slaving over hot calculators and bubbling, smoky testtubes, finally it is complete . The game known as MMMoker is born.

I predict this game will shortly eclipse the standard rules of NL HE as it is far more sophisticated , yet once the rules are mastered , is a joy to play.

MMMoker is almost like poker. Indeed it can be played against poker players, using the same framework. THere are differences though.

Let's run through these.

Nearly all the rules involve u being first to act.

1) Firstly a number of hands must be moved allin or called allin. There
are no exceptions to this. These hands are 74, T2, JJ, TT , 22. Theres no escaping the fact if u are dealt these hands u will find yourself allin preflop. Pls note u cannot push any other hand allin preflop unless it is an underraise (eg 200 400
blinds and u have 500.) This may mean raising all but one of your chips.
Beware if u have AT AJ AQ AK though! (see rule 5). Postflop u may go allin
anytime (barring min riase considerations, see rule 4)

2) If you have a 2 in your hand that isnt T2 or 22 (which u will raise
allin) then u must raise 2x the current blind, unless some1 has already
raised, in which case u may play as u see fit.

3) If you have two paint cards JQ,KJ, KQ, you are forced to raise exactly
half your stack preflop. If it is only possible to move allin then u must
do this. This excludes KK QQ and JJ(see rules 1 and 4). Subsequent flop
action is up to you.

4) if you are dealt AA or KK or QQ or 55. If you ge AA, you must announce
this and can now only ever raise minimum. eg u are dealt AA u annoucne "I
have Rockets!" and min raise. If you are dealt KK or QQ or 55 the same
applies but u dont need to announce these hands. If reraised u can now min
reraise. on flop u bet min as turn as river and raise minimum if u wish
follwing any action. U may fold them if u wish at any point.

5) if u are dealt AT AJ AQ or AK and face any raise preflop u must fold. This can include a reraise. If u are first to act, you may riase these up, but if reraised , u must fold.

6) if u flop a set, first to act u must move in. if u are last to act u
must min bet. if in MP u may play as u see fit.

7) if u are dealt a 6 in your hand, you must raise to 400 preflop( unless blinds are too big to do this, in which case this rule doesn not apply.) Now, on the flop u must pass to any bet of 152 or more. If this bet isnt made u may play your hand accordingly.

Ok, we're done. THis seems complicated but soon becomes second nature. I have been involved in a series of battles with the only other world class MMMoker player i know, flushie and so far he has managed to edge the heads up battles between us although the sample is too small to have significance and i know i am probably the better player.

It is a great game with in depth strategy required such as how to play AK AQ AJ, when to bluff by raising to 400 preflop, when to represent aces etc.

Recently, the game was taken to a new level. Previosuly it had only been played as a heads up game. But myself and Mr Royal took part in a full table stt 5$ speed game. FR was knocked out after making a small tactical error with AQ where he was forced to fold preflop. However, MMMoker strategy is a powerful weapon to have and I quickly destroyed all the remaining kippers with its dominant tactics.

This experiment illustrated the inherent power of MMMoker.

Tournamnets played using MMMoker tactics : 1
Tornaments WON using MMMoker tactics: 1

I foresee this evolving into the new form of poker and making traditional poker rules redundant by the year 2007.

Learn it, Live it, breathe it. It's MMMoker, the wave of the future"
